This was a truly lovely ending! I like that the Five-0 are such a tight-knit group who understand each other, bar none. And I like the idea of them being able to live their own lives when they need to and then if they need help, they can turn to each other.
And I agree that McMahon needed to die-he never would have stopped hurting people otherwise.

I believe that Daniel did all the work and you just run around, albeit beautifully, wielding your gun. - Ain't it the truth!
They sure have McMahon figured out. Love the way they neutralized all his traps, including body armor for Steve. (But I bet Danny also wore it, just to be safe.)

Good job, boys! Love Danny's "You are now officially forgiven." I remember that little cargument in the pilot where Danny tells Steve :Apology accepted, forgiveness pending (sic) and Steve says: "you let me know, now." Danny finishes with "I'll let you know." Well, guess he finally let Steve know! Great, great tie in to canon, angelofjoy! McMahon is finished - sweet dreams everyone! The next chapter will be bittersweet, but all good things have to come to an end...in order for something new to begin! Right?

Damn, but I didn't thihk of that either-thank goodness Danny's smarter then me :):) And I love how it was Five-0 all working together that outsmarted McMahon and good for Danny for shooting him.

Wow - Danny is really in "take charge" mode. It sure gives the team a different look. I am anxiously awaiting the big confrontation with McMahon (although I am in no hurry to reach the end of the story).

I reread the last chapter and focused on this line: "Then you have better get to him before the good witch gives him the ruby slippers so that he can get out of Oz." Gladys mocked.
and then you had McMahon asking if Gabby was locked up with the other Five-0 suspects, and I'm guessing that Gabby is The Good Witch and somehow he's going to use her as a way out of Hawaii. But then you had McMahon calling Gabby the new queen of Danny's heart so maybe the Good Witch is Rachel? But I think McMahon's plan is to use someone as cover because he's banking on Danny's being distracted and not wanting innocent people hurt. Am I on the right track at all? :):)
