Incredible chapter! I really enjoyed it! I liked the insights Sam provided about her past life and building her doohicky! Poor Jack, that had to be hard, being ordered to betray his vows! I hope everything works out!

Un-put-down-able. I found myself waking up at odd hours of the night just to get a few chapters in. This is one of the most interesting, engaging, captivating stories I've ever read. I love how Jack and Sam are in character tho slightly different considering the circumstances. Great job. So well written. Will be re-reading this soon.

I have a lot of requirements for a fanfic story. This story had all my requirements and much more. Not only is the story complete but it is very much In-Character! It has more of the Sam/Jack interactions than we are able to see on-screen. For Jack & Sam, I always hope for the right balance of sentimental & stoicism. The characters are not as overly self-evaluating and full of angst as some of the fanfics that I have read. This story has adventure, comedy, romance. It is a bit more steamy that I was expecting with a T rating. But the story is suspenseful and intriguing and clever. I couldn’t put it down.
I love how this story uses elements from many of the SG-1 and even SGA episodes. Jack, Samantha, Daniel and Cameron are very true to their character. In this story, their speech and mannerisms are written so classically in-character that I could often picture their tone of voice perfectly as if they were standing next to me saying those words. I could picture their manarisms, expressions and posture. In typical fashion, Samantha continues to amaze. No matter how impossible the situation, you can count on Carter to think of things no one else would.
If a reader was disappointed with the limited Sam/Jack interaction in Stargate Continuum; if a reader is dissappointed that there are no new Samantha Carter adventures to be seen; then they need to read this story.

Jack does not seem to notice that Samantha says "Yeah, sure, you betcha". She got that from Jack because it is Minnesota thing. And hasn't he noticed that he has never seen her actually eat fruiteeos? Jack is missing some of the clues that she was close to his counerpart. Very suspenseful.
Oh, and about the last chapter. The flirting at the table was the perfect mix of steamy & tasteful. Yikes!
And I love the reference to cake earlier. It was a Jack thing.
I don't have time to write all the parts that I think are clever now.
But the knee thing, I really followed her plan there, taking him sightseeing. It was a very clever part of her plan. She tipped her hand a bit admitting that she knew he probably had knee & back problems.
Going way back to the jog in the woods. Great to see you pulling from so many of the SG-1 stories & really thinking like Carter would.

Husband! I also imagined that they were quietly married after she left Atlatis, but maybe they were married during one of her trips home. I like to think of how fanfic can fit in with what I know of the stories. After Sam returned to SG-1 to be in Cameron Mitchell's team, Samantha told someone that she was not really single. I believe that she started dating O'Neill right after breaking up with Pete. When Carter was first in Atlantis, she told someone that she was sort of in a long-distance relationship with someone in DC - obviously O'Neill. so... yay...husband. If it is in writing it must be so. :-)

I really shouldn't be up. Too much to do tomorrow. But the anticipation and suspense was killing me, for the moment when Samantha sees alternateJack again. This chapter did not disappoint. Excellent spark-age! and the sentimental as well. Yay! Thank you for this story! Can't wait until I get a break tomorrow & check out the next chapter!

I am already LOVING this. So far everyone is in character.. check.. even Jack (complicated guy).. check .. intrigue & suspense.. check.. perfect amount of sentimental.. check..Potential for an interesting side story / alternate story from the movie .. awsome! Can't wait to see where you are going from here. Hopefully new Jack will see what old Jack saw in Samantha.

Absolutely loved this story! I just watched Continuum this past weekend and loved it. (I'm a new SG-1 fan...started watching the series earlier this year and kept putting off watching Continuum because I didn't want it all to be over with! Haha!). This was really a great story though. I always thought that during that year of waiting around, that Sam would have been up to something. Thanks so much!
