I bet you've read Blue Skies (A Portal Fanfic) haven't you? I knew that by chapter three. It theorized that many Aperture AIs, corrupt or not, will have some sort of repitition in their speech, or have weak short-term memory, or often obsess and stress on one subject or trait except for those who seem more aware, like GLaDOS, reason being that she was once a human. Blue Skies also theorized Wheatley was once human. Also, I always wondered because of that if Rick (Adventure Core) was a human once as well. That chapter just made my day, Rick (besides Wheatley) is my favorite core. "YEAH, WELL THIS THORN, IS ABOUT TO TAKE YOU DOWN! Man that sounded so much better in my head!"
Well, I also like how you stuck with how Team Fortress 2 likely takes place in the 1960s, even though that's often a barrier (that's often ignored) in Portal/TF2 crossover fanfics.
