for Betrayal

I love to see different perspectives on antagonist/protagonist. It is disappointing how one-sided Tolkien's work is, and how little attention (one sentence) Morgoth's "betrayal" of the Easterlings, and even then he demonized them in the next sentence by writing about their treatment of the elderly and the women (they did do that, but, still, their side of the story needs to be told.

I really liked that! You certainly put a refreshing perspective on the Easterlings, and I loved the way you put such emphasis on the irony of the betrayers betrayed. I loved the little details in your language like, "bloody fingers," and the way you portrayed their pain at being betrayed and compared them to the people of Bor.

I think you did thi piece quite beautfully. The Easterly did not get what Morgoth, which is of the reasons they were so cruel to the Edain, that there dwelt. I think it is sad though that the Edain were the ones who endured most of the suffering, though it was the Elves wh started the wars. When the wars failed, the Elves mainly left their allies to suffer the conseqences, while they hid away in their secret kingdoms.
