I really liked the story but every one seems to miss some other very important uses for magic. Just think about the space program when space craft have been featherlighted so it is cheap and easy to send really large payloads into orbit. Especially if they have expand space inside of the payload carriers.

waw i absolutely love this story thank you! i was so into itthat i couldn't even stop long enouph for a quick review... i too think harry put up with more than he should have in book 5 and book 6 is not even better in that aspect but well, i apreciate JK Rowling's plot and i appreciate your's for different reason's. thank you again, and i hope to see more of your amazing stories. XD

This is a very intriguing idea, I'll admit. It was very sound, and to abolish the division between the two societies seems to be truly for the best, so in the whole you reach a happier situation than the books. But the best part is that it opens so many new possibilities, just by ending the web of secrets. Yep.

I am not getting why Elixir would need to limited. Nice that Horcrux were kept secret, in too many stories they become public knowledge what is stupid.

I think that one giant thing is missing from uses of magic - free energy device in HP!world is thanks to magic engineering problem, not pseudoscience. And free energy would change more than everything else put together.
Also, thanks to various gravity related stuff space travel should get millions time cheaper.

This story would be far better without "Dumbledore is dumb as it is possible".
"Reduce the amount MP's get paid in order to get back some of the public's faith" and "Find more money to better finance the NHS" (those two had gone together quite well)
As nice it sound the things are on so different scale that first one is purely symbolic.

OMG, your ending for Arthur and Molly nearly made me cry! I always pictured those "Weasley Sweaters" as hugs from Molly, and it's like she's giving hugs to the whole world now!
And Charlie as a TV star a la " The Crocodile Hunter"... I can see it now. "Look at this Hungarian Horntail, ain't she a beauty!"
I would say that maybe they should be worried about the rise of The Dark Lord Ron. But then again, it's Ron.
Yes, I snerked at the Sirius Black/Gary Oldman reference. Who wouldn't?

*sigh - you know, much as I love these books and the characters and the world that JK has created, sometimes I do think that Harry should have just said 'That's it, I'm moving to Sparta', and bugged out.

This could have been called Chapter Three - The Ministry's Warning, or Paybacks are a Witch ('course it would have been funnier if Harry was a girl, but then again, Hermione probably played a large part of the plan, so it still works, right?)
Needless to say, I'm doing the evil cackle and rubbing hands together thing that all those who enjoy a bit of retribution do.
