Well hey!
D'awwwwww. A proposal scene! You know, I've been thinking about ceremonies for other pony races ever since the Canterlot Wedding. Earth Ponies and Pegasi don't have horns to slip a ring onto, right? And if it was made big enough to go around a foreleg, it'd be more of a bracelet. I've got the Pegasus tradition figured out already- wingbands. An ornate bracelet-like thing that goes around the base of the wing. They'd be joined by a ribbon stretching between the two near bands. The Earth Pony tradition may be a little harder to put together though. That's a problem, because it would probably be the default for a wedding between two ponies of different races- a Unicorn and Pegasus, for instance.
But I'm not here to talk about me. This was a well-written piece, certainly. Rarity totally would do something like this. And I definitely think your dialogue is getting even better. I actually read the lines in Dash's and Jack's voices. That's a good thing. This was a sweet little piece, dude. Thanks for the update!

Okay, loved this so much.

Well, that's cool. Worked in three ships on one chapter. AppleShy is a new one for me, though. As is RariPie. I have to say, they all work. That's the great thing about the six. You can pair each one off with literally any of the other five and it's workable. Not like Maximum Ride, which, as goddamn amazing as it is, only has very limited reasonable pairing opportunities.
This was an extremely lovey-dovey chapter. Much like "Together" and my still-unnamed oneshot series, it was written for sheer "d'aww" value. Sometimes it's nice to take a break from the war and death of fics like The Urthblood Saga, or from the sheer insanity of the PPC, and invest a little time in squeeing over something irresistably adorable. Let's face it, another PPCer is reading this somewhere and muttering something about Goodfic Reccomendations.
You know, I always wonder what's coming next...
