I'm completely hooked. I adore this universe you've created, and these sort of supernatural stories have always been of interest to me; your characterisation is perfect, because it's /not/ - you can see the subtle changes in especially Sherlock and John, because they haven't grown up yet, but also, they have suffered what their adults selves have. It's such a brilliant way to portray them and I love it. They cautious relationship built up at all the right times, and I love the side plot of Molly and Greg. I really hope you find some inspiration to continue soon, because this world is perfect and I don't have the heart to be away from it for too long. Brilliant job! :)

Let me just say that I completely adore this fic. I love the concept of the Changelings - it is really brilliant and the world you've built for them is amazing. Everyone in this is perfectly in character and their shifts match them perfectly as well. I love your writing style and how you're building a case into this. John and Sherlock's relationship is spot on and I love how you're building it amid everything else that is going on. I love that there are a variety of things happening in the story but at no point does it feel too busy or distracting. Everything fits and flows wonderfully with each other. Okay - Off to read the rest now.

yay for AU johnlock fics! :) I absolutely love it when both are destined to be soul mates :) so typical Sherlock to only focus on the scientific definition of open bonds :) nice that you added Irene in as part of Moriarty's network and that she is not completely irredeemable; most likely Sherlock helped her escape death right? but the only thing I didn't really like was the traumatic past you gave Sherlock, but that only highlighted John's loyalty and steadfastness to protect Sherlock which warms my heart, and also the part where they are both marked by their scars :) hmmm I guess Sherlock was abused as a child but not in the sexual manner? But there's a part in the fic that mentioned Mycroft's reminiscence of Sherlock's pants when they finally discovered the father's depravity, which sort of reminds of a scene in the kite runner where the friend of whom I can't remember the name, keeps being reminded of the pants and blood in the snow when he thinks about his friend's rape... but it wouldn't be sexual abuse, since Sherlock wasn't exactly traumatized to begin a physical relationship with Victor, so for a moment I was imagining all the horrible things that could happen in his past from what I could glean from the hints and yet be relieved it's not the most horrible thing I've thought :) absolute thrilling now that they are both soul mates in every sense of the term :) pls update soon! :)

So I know you haven't updated in a while and maybe you won't. If I were writing this, I would be reluctant to enter into the angst of the inevitable climactic confrontation. But I do hope you finish the story. This has been a really fun one to read. I tend to shy away from AU and teen Johnlocks because they can so easily lose the characters to contrivance, but you write each of them so well and the relationship is so natural that it's been truly delightful to read. I was up until 5 a.m. last night reading this story and finally made myself go to sleep and finish it this morning.
In any case, thank you for creating such a delightful universe. You have some fantastic moments in here and it's been an addictive pleasure to read. Please continue.

I'm currently in a studio class that's main focus is animal and human based concept design.
