I really loved your story so far, especially how you depict Damon's feelings. I hope Elena will realize soon how much she really hurts him. Can we hope for an update or have you written the story off? I hope it's the first, because it would be a shame not to finish such a fantastic story!

I liked all the separate scenes in this chapter- and the short little one with Caroline and Klaus was very well played.

I still hate it that it's always Damon who is on the receiving end of the dagger twisting. I feel she's trying in this chapter but she still ends up hurting him. she's not as pure as the wind driven snow either. No mere mortal is. I literally HATE Stefan and I don't for the life of me understand why all these girls fall all over themselves for him. Damon's past is far from stellar but Stefan is much more cunning, Bundyesque (if you're familiar w Ted Bundy who was a serial killer here in the 70's) He's the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing. Damon's eyes say it all. He tries to wear the mask but she can see right through it most of the time. Sometimes I think she's aware of the pain she causes him, other times I think she's oblivious. Come out of the fog Elena!
I don't have a clue as to what's up w Esther & Abby. I think Elena is in much danger again though. glad you updated. Have a wonderful week. Guten Tag!

Poor. poor Damon has such hard luck with women.
145 years he singlemindedly waited to get Katherine back. He would have willingly gone with to death with Katherine when the townspeople took her in 1864 if his larger and stronger father had not stopped him.
Damon did willingly get killed trying to rescue Katherine where Stefan fetched the sheriff to capture her and only went to the deadly rescue for love of Damon. Now he loves Elena and she isn't likeing it either.

Deer hunting is a logical place to put a despondent vampire. I always want to tell the vampire to be sure and dress the meat and leave gifts on poor families doorsteps after they drink deer dry.

Kol really gives me the creeps. Klaus is poisonously mean and entitled but Kol acts like he might actually be not sane.
Poor Finn, I can understand, but I bet his mother did not tell him he would be killing all the worlds vampires rather than just his 1000 year old and often abusive, to both humans and vampires, siblings.

I just so love that Matt figured it out. Elena does not seem to understand Damon very well. She confuses his treating the short lived humans as just food animals with not caring and she seems to resent his having company after she spurned him.

I like your smart, helpful Matt. His children and grandchildren will probably have supernatural guardians for generations in memory of his loyalty and good hearted bravery. He's shinning so far in season4.

I'm really glad that Elena realized the connection (and it kind of solidified it for the audience). SO excited to see where that takes the story, also super excited now that Abby's kind of working for Ayanna. Great to have you back! :)
