I caught up. His story is amazing. Thank you for the wonderful pacing and execution. Often times writers feel like they have to hit their audience over the head with key points, but you actually give us the chance to figure things out.

Damn cliffhanger or what! I think that’s interesting that Xena was the one who sort of set this in to motion with her actions all those years ago. Saying that though I'm glad she has come here to right her wrongs but I think she should have told Gabrielle sooner what was going on, but I understand that the guilt must have held her back from telling her. Seriously though I hope Leandros can get out this mess his actions really prove that he deserves a second chance in life and he deserves to be happy.

Well done! You successfully managed to get so many strong emotions from me during this chapter, and then another feeling in the last part but I'll get to that in a minute.
First was the part with Xena and Gabrielle talking, that was really sweet and heartfelt with Xena saying Gabby is her reason to fight on and live...and I can so imagine Xena really saying that, and that's what she really believes. She helped Xena when she began her path to redemption, and has been with her all the way, supporting her throughout. It was lovely to hear that :)
Then wow, that part with the wounded soldier they found, and later on with Ivan's torture against Darius, that was so intense. Brilliantly written, I could actually feel the pain, both physically from Darius, and emotionally from Leandros. The way you build up the desperation and keep the tension going on was excellently done. You've defiantly done well to create an array of emotions, through writing a sweet and tender scene to the brutality of a brawl. Awesome stuff.
That end part... ''A sound tore through the air. A mixture of a screech...ripped through...flew...sliced...'' Reading that sentence I knew, yes Xena has arrived, she has thrown the Chakram, and then gave her war cry! It really felt like watching the show again, bringing that fist-pumping OH YEAH moment LOL. Great job again, eagerly waiting for the next chapter, patiently of course ;)

Oh my...really? I know you said this chapter would be teasing...but that was just...oh Gods LOL. I just knew it had to be a dream, I was like it's too good to be true and I was right. Poor Gab XD So, once again really well-written chapter, honestly Bex, I know you want to wait until you're more comfortable with your writing to become professional, but in my opinion you are at professional level already, your writing is that good, it puts official authors to shame ;D
But that dream...I knew it was a dream from one of the lines Gabby uses, ''Xena's mouth against her skin felt wonderful, almost like a dream...'' I was just thinking she's going to wake up at the moment she doesn't want to LOL. It was excellently written, the right mixture of passion and fantasy, if that makes any sense XD

Brilliantly told as always from you, I was caught completely off guard there with Juliette kissing Gabrielle and wondered why she would do that when things between Gab and Xena were tense as there were. But that was actually kinda clever and sneaky of her, trying to work them faster into telling each other's feelings. The thoughts and feelings of the characters are really brought to life, you can feel all the emotions from them, frustration, fear, jealousy, bitterness...the lot. Really looking forward to see what happens with the vision with Leandros, will he die or not? The vision merely shows a stab in the back, he might make it out alive...or not, I don't know XD I can't wait to find out, but I know you're busy so I'm patient :) Awesome chapter :D

Damn I did not see that coming at all I thought Gabrielle's dream was real, there was no hint that it wasn't. Regardless that it was an erotic dream it was beautifully written and full of a deep emotion and love and devotion I liked that no words were spoken. The question is, is this really a dream or was in a premonition. It’s been shown in the series that Gabrielle has a ability to see things in her dreams now and again which could happen. I think Xena was lying about saying she thought Gabrielle was having a nightmare I think she knew just what kind of dream that was but she was just helping Gabrielle to save safe since it’s also shown in the series that if she's having a nightmare she wakes her up. Damn now I feel really sorry for Gabrielle all that sexual energy and no where for it go...that’s got to so annoying on so many levels.
