Wow.
I can only count the number of authors on one hand who can make Naru AND Mai in character and write them realistically as they deal with emotions, and one of them is you. Most authors tend to exaggerate the characterization and sacrifice it for drama or humor, but you never did. Actually, your writing reminds me a lot of ravyncat's fanfics, she's also one of the few ones who can write like that.
I liked how Naru struggled to deal with falling in love, breaking out of his shell and confessing. He's an extremely introverted person, so he'd definitely have a hard time to love someone externally and having to learn to accept it. I love how the lights unexpectedly turned on at the end of chapter 8 and that he did not stop or look away when confessing. It blew my mind.
For Mai I liked that she returned to apologize and came to reflect on her action to Naru in the earlier chapters. He's still her boss after all. I really loved the end where she notes the importance of SPR to her. She would not want to lose either.
All in all, great fic. If possible, please write more! :)
