for Captain Hook, Book Two: James Hook, Redemption

I've just been rewatching Peter Pan another time, and thought looking up for some fanfic, since it's Hook who's intriguing me most. You've certainly hit upon what moves me where he is concerned, have given him a wonderful way to redeem that, and have told a wonderful story about this came to happen. Great work!

That... is one of the sweetest and most messed up things that I've ever read. And I loved every minute of it.

Excellent job :)

Everything about this story makes me smile, grin like a fool, laugh and become saddened so easliy from the events that fall and I love every moment of it. I'm happy to have found this and I'm happy that I had recently chosen to rewatch the Peter Pan movie and had a sudden inspiration for fanfiction :) I hope you get more readers for James' story because both he and you deserve it.

Keep writing, and may inspiration flow endlessly to you,

Thank you,

Sanriko

This is wonderful.

I'm sorry, there is nothing more that I can say :) I'm nearly speechless...

Gosh darn it, I was grinning at the beginning of this chapter like a fool and then, of course, things had to go downhill again. Though it's understandable because of how James IS, it's still very saddening. I hope that he will not leave Aster, I don't think the two of them will be able to bear it.

OH! Sadness! D: I have miscalculated, it seems...Poor Aster...Poor James...*sigh*

Hmm, I'm quite liking the chemistry between them- they work well together and I like how James seems to be a wonderful teacher. Must be the stark practicality that's in him. And Aster is no pushover and picks up things quickly- I can only wonder of the possible conflict a new crew will bring about. They don't know James personally and I'm worried that fear will not be enough to keep them in order...

You somehow know how to develop the story very well- it flows at a great pace and I am liking Aster more and more. She is real to me, and that's great considering that she is an unfamiliar character that did not come from the movie :)

Once again, people are baffled by the enigma that is James Cook ;)

So Aster gets to know more of Captain Hook :) I wonder how she will react to such a story. It certainly isn't something that is anywhere close to believable, defnitely :P

That was probably the quirkiest and quickest marriage proposal I've ever heard of XD It's all so campy- I love it!~ He didn't even know her name and he popped the question, haha!

I like Aster so far, she seems sharp tongued and spunky. I like it :)

It's almost heartening to hear of things getting somewhat easy and at tha regulative pace from work. The Jolly Roger has returned and though the crew is definitely worse from wear, everything seems to be coming back to a place where James is no longer in that obsessive and dark mood anymore. Perhaps he can go back to a life where he won't always be horribly disappointed...

This. Is. Perfection :) I grew excited at the familiar scenes recealled in Smee's perspective and seeing the familiar characters from the previous book. I knew Akachi would be alive (he seems more than capable of taking care of himself) but I was still excited beyond reason...And nothing could replace the feeling of utter joy of imagining James cutting out of the Crocodile's belly.

(I feel like such a dork for replaying the scene from Disney Hercules movie where he cut his way out from the neck of the Hydra lol)
