This whole thing is TOTALLY AWESOME! There is no aspect of it which is not great. Lovely dialogue, I love the use of Oliver to expand Kaidan's character... the whole expansion of how the characters get together is great, and Garrus and Thane as wingmen is perfect.

Wow, I loved this fic. Very nicely done. I like the way you write Shepard and Kaidan both. I like the weariness you convey in Shepard, the heavy burdern she's has , and how she is so focused on the mission and very driven to get it done right. Gives her a nice depth and realistic feel. And Kaidan. Ah, Kaidan. I like how you detail his thoughts on the Horizon encounter, and I love that he runs after Shepard at the cafe. I was surprised they got so physical at his flat, but you know, it totally worked. You did a nice job taking them from the break on Horizon to a mind-set where your last scene seems totally plausible. That's not an easy thing to do, but you definitely made it work. :) And Oliver! I LOVED his character. It was nice to see Kaidan have a friend... so many Kaidan-centric fics don't really give him any friends, but I liked seeing him interact with someone other than his superiors or the crew. Really really well done, I really enjoyed reading this! Thanks so much for writing it!

It's a lovely piece and I really enjoyed it. It is very close to my own "headcanon" so I at least got some wonderful closure from it. Thanks for that!
