Ohhh! I hope we get to see Lyon and the Prince get married!
I love how Haswar and Miakis teased the Prince or should I say, Commander...
Maybe you could write a companion fic about what ever is happening when he dismisses the Queen's Knights except for Lyon :D *evil laugh*

Before I give my review, I just have to point out just one thing - the chronology of the Suikoden series and its importance here.
Suikoden V took place ten years before Suikoden I thus both Frey and Lyon would be 26 or 27 (and most probably married too). As for the young queen herself, she would be about twenty or so.
Ok, review time. I may agree on both sides of the arguement regarding Lym's marriage.
Given that Queen Arshtat had married and gave birth to Frey at the age of sixteen does give the proponents a good arguement to begin with.
In the same manner, Lym wants to change the system to suit her independent personality.
Long story short, having Frey and Lyon marry and have kids would be the best solution. Besides, pretty much everyone in the game (plus the ones playing it) already knew their feelings for each other, both Frey and Lyon are just plain stubborn in keeping it to themselves.
Good job in making a future fic with everyone more or less being in character.
