Castle as Mal, Mal as Castle. This is utterly PERFECT! There are some minor grammar issues but your Kate and Rick/Mal combo here has been utterly perfect thus far. I haven't seen the newest seasons of Castle, but I've started to watch it again and I'm making my way through Season 3 thanks to this lol. At any rate, you've done the characters in the precinct perfectly as well, but Kate/Mal you've done the best in my humble opinion. I normally don't go with character relationships in shows, but those two are perfect for each other no matter what side of the Verse they might be from lol. Joking aside, I am definitely reading the rest of this. Adios!

I wasn't sure how crossing these two shows would work at first, but you have done an excellent job with that! I was totally surprised at how well you incorporated the Castle characters and how "MalCastleDad" switches between his personalities. I really love it! It took me a little bit to get used to a happier Mal but now it really works! Great job! I am definitely following this story and already added it to favorites!

I for one like and have always liked the idea of Jayne and River being a couple. I know theres probably an age difference, but I don't thinks it's that big of a gap.

It was another wonderful chapter! You can tell how much effort you put into the character's and story and research. I think this could possible be one of the best stories i've ever read. Well done!

Great story. I stayed up till 5 am this morning reading up to chapter 28. I think you've done a wonderful job with Castle as Mal and the characterizations of all the Firefly cast. I also love the way you are displaying Beckitt's softer side that we don't get to see as often in Castle episodes. The only critique I have is that while your Kate is very well developed and a character it is easy to emotionally identify with she doesn't have as much of her usual fire. That may be just a result of the strange circumstances and her illness since it was definatly there berore the transition to the future.
