Loved it. Kaylee is perhaps the cutest thing in the world, and you managed to capture every bit of her character in this chapter. I was astounded the first time I read it, how much it managed to sum her up perfectly, and I thoroughly enjoyed it here, even four reads in. Great work on her voice for sure.
Loved the additions. You did /exactly/ what I thought was needed; not only did it give a visual point of reference, but you capture the characters so well in showing how the rest or watch or relax, that it gives us a whole nother look at their character and interactions with just a simple paragraph. Couldn't have been done better. AND, I loved that you linked back to the grenades by having them on her belt, that was good.
Great chapter. I'm excited to see how you tie everything together!
