These two chapters have much better flow than most of your stories, principally because you don't get so bogged down in the details of unit identification, etc. They move at an even pace, and the dialog is pretty good. If you choose to continue, the challenge you will need to take on is character development for the OC's. Who are these people, and what makes them tick? So far, we see them performing their jobs, but there is little to distinguish one character from the next. Can you give them personalities to go along with their jobs?

Nice. Looking forward to some more! The early interrogation of the Cylon prisoners will make quite a few changes.
Meanwhile the Hammond will have to get its arse into gear if they're going to save any more Colonial ships. By this time in the mini-series Caprica had been nuked to hell! Obviously that planet's a write-off, but I wonder if there are any others still to bear the full brunt of the Cylon advance.

Your killing me with this waiting for story's. However... is seems its worth the wait.
One question, you kept mentioning the fires would get to the ammunition, when they had none on-board. That's why their going to Ragnar Station.
