I'm surprised Lily could even think straight in that moment. It just shows how strong and brave she is. She's an amazing woman. I think she is where Harry gets his fierce sense of duty that James obviously lacked until that last second. It was then that he finally took some responsibility and is, I think, the reason why Harry is still alive today. Good job and good luck in the competition.
