6the midnight requiem
This story was so very good.
The most notable thing was the portrayal of emotions, particularly by Nezumi. His hesitation and yearning toward a future he was unsure of was so in-character and very captivating. Honestly, the fact you were able to capture emotions so well and make them so potent was the best part of this entire thing. I found my heart aching right along side the characters and smiling at certain times. It's the sole reason I loved the last part so much. I'm not much one for reading mindless sex, I prefer it to have meaning. This definitely did. You worried that it was awkward, and I won't lie, it was. But that sort of thing is supposed to be awkward the first time. The way you wrote it articulated the intimacy and how special it truly was to each of them for their own reason. It was really beautiful, and that is hard to find on this site sometimes.
Anyways, that may have been a bit long, but I do want to thank you for writing this. It was truly fantastic and a treat to read.

It's beautiful. Not only is it believable, which is one thing I look for in fan fics, it's beautifully written, with an obvious depth of understanding of the actual story. I can easily imagine this being part of the original so wonderful job an thank you for giving us the opportunity to read this. :)

The whole story was absolutely fantastic. I've never felt compelled to review before but I just had to for this story. After watching the whole show in one shot the ending left something to be desired and you definitely filled that desire with this story. Good job.

There are so many fanfiction writers out there who produce scenes like this that feel empty…lifeless…mechanical…this has none of those problems at all. This was beautiful, unadulterated lovemaking and I was enthralled with every word. The scenes before and after the activities were breathtakingly gorgeous and sweet that made me just go “Awww.” While reading the amorous activities, I had to get up from my seat to attend to something and when I rose, my own knees gave away and I found myself on my floor, staring up at my screen with shocked and joyful eyes. I was weak. Physically weak. That was how much your wonderful story affected me and I could not be happier. No story that I have ever read, fanfiction or otherwise, has ever had such an impact on me and by the time I read the final sentence of the chapter, I was brought to tears. Thank you, thank you so much for this wonderful story. To the greatest extent I applaud you for this marvelous piece of art and I thank you once again for sharing your brilliant talent with the rest of us. You are my favorite No. 6 fanfiction writer and I look forward to more lovely and compelling works from you.

This chapter simply blew me away. I have read it three times now and I cannot grasp the words needed to express how much I adore this chapter. I cannot pick out any one scene that stuck out to me, it is impossible. Every sentence...every word perfectly potent to create a masterpiece of literary truth and loveliness. I can clearly see the love you have for these characters and their world through your stories and that is what makes this chapter, this entire story, so beautiful and enjoyable. In this chapter I enjoyed learning of all the changes No. 6 has undergone through Nezumi’s eyes. I liked that even though he could see all the positive changes for himself, he still had difficulty believing them, which I thought was very realistic given his history with the former parasitic city. I thought the exchange between Nezumi and the little kid was adorable. I saw it as a little bit of the influence Shion had on Nezumi poking through even after all the time spent apart. The entire conversation between Karan and Nezumi was done masterfully. I very much enjoyed Nezumi’s fumbling; I thought it was a refreshing change since he is always the one who knows just what to say at any time. I love Karan and I have always wanted to see something with just her and Nezumi, something to clear up any lingering misunderstandings and feelings of guilt between them and this chapter does that extremely well. I loved Karan’s motherly treatment of Nezumi and reading his own levels of discomfort. I just wanted to give the poor guy a hug every time. I felt a wave of joy crash over me for both of them by the end of their conversation and I just sat on my chair with this ridiculous grin on my visage. Karan was characterized perfectly in this chapter and her parting words to Nezumi gave me goosebumps.
