Wow, this is so complicated I can hardly keep up! Great chapter, nice to see the update;)
I’m not sure I liked how Violet reacted to Evan’s treachery. She should’ve killed him, of course, but I felt like she did a little too quickly and too impulsively. I always assumed Violet a deep, calculating thinker.
And I do like Kathryn much better than Violet and Jacob much better than Alexander. Perhaps the two can become a couple? And I wonder how Kathryn raised her daughter. And, in total, how much time has gone past in this story exactly?
I mean, what year is it...because I'm kinda confused as to where they are in time?
Or maybe that's the illusion you're trying to create – that, because they're all immortals, time is irrelevant to them and, it doesn’t matter how much time passes by for them, grudges will still be held and hearts will still shatter.
So many questions! Update soon:D

Really Interesting concept you have with Madeline being still alive.
So Jake was right about Even not being who he said he was, but I got to say I really don't feel that bad for Violet considering ever since Jacob saved The Cullen's she's pretty much been a ** to him in my Opinion.
As for Jacob waking up Madeline, I don't think he's just waking her up to kill Alexander and Kathryn. There has to be another reason and judging by Jacob calling her grandma maybe in some crazy way he knows her, or maybe he was just being sarcastic and reading into it to much.

Finally! But this chapter was worth the long wait. I dont think i'll ever like violet. I hope she dies and rots in hell. I love all the characters... Kathryn, alexander, rose everyone except violet. I hope Evan betrays her like how she betrayed jake. What are alexander and jake upto now?

Just for curiosities sake, do you watch the Vampire Diaries television series? It has similar themes with Original vampires and doppelgangers and curses. In any case, your story is really good and I am enjoying the read :D
