There's a more practical reason superhero tech in either Marvel or DC doesn't leak to the common man on the street. It's expensive as hell and there are comparatively very few people in either 'verse with the know-how and savvy to repair the stuff if it gets broken or damaged. You'd be likelier to see the jet-setting crowd getting their hands on medical cybernetics and automated vehicles with full flight capability and 3D holographic simulators by simple virtue of them being able to afford it more easily than someone earning an average salary of $50-75 thousand a year. Most of the great new technological advances in the real world don't get passed down for civilian use until a decade or two or more after their inception, mainly because that's how long it takes to make them functional for non-specialized consumers. In the Marvel Universe proper, according to the miracle of comic book time, it's only been over a decade since most superheroes initially debuted; we'd need 15 more years of comic book time for it to be that much of a problem that ordinary people don't have access to all the cool tech superheroes enjoy.

Quibbling aside, that last line with Reed trying to "sex up" the Fantasticar by plastering it with pictures of Sue and failing was hilarious, although it is amusing to note that Reed actually does take the time to notice Sue's gorgeousness. And the Iron Codpiece was rather chuckle-worthy, too.
