Yes, this background does give a new perspective on Desmond, which is cool to know, and I assume equally cool to write. (I would know, me and my endless list of OC's XP)
I love that you added the Carl's Junior thing, that made me smile :) I like the instant compatability between the Des and Neo, adds legitimacy to their -fanmade- relationship. Is there more that leads up to the beginning of your first story?
