They do Angry! Sex very very well, well, well...
You know, while it's semi-purposeless smut, it's still got a great story built in. It's not that far removed from the anger they showed each other in the wake of Carlton's discovery of Juliet and Shawn's relationship. Because they do trust each other enough to get that angry with each other. That's love, baby.
And I do love how you write them together. :)

Okay, the phone smut was lovely- didn't have to be super explicit to be evocative and sensual and sexy and the smut smut was as heated and fabulous as always and you just FELT their connection (pun completely intended) after having been separated.
HOWEVER...
This:
"I know that makes no difference to you, so let me add this. Detective Lassiter is my fiancé. We are getting married late tomorrow afternoon, and I. Have. Not. Seen. Him. In. A. Full. Week."
Had me absolutely HOWLING. That was just so perfect- I could see Juliet standing there, looking at Burly and glowering in actually, a very Carlton-like manner. Brilliant!

But I will say that again, as smutalicious as this is, it's also increasingly loving and sweet and romantic. Their need for each other is so palpable and underscored with so much emotion.

I'll never be able to look at skis the same way again, that's for sure. Wunnerful smutfulness with sweetness and romance to make it such a nice plotty (is that a word?) read, too.

WAAAAAHHHHHHH... OMG, you very nearly broke my heart with poor, nervous, insecure Carlton.
However, the Adventures in Skiing were sexy and funny and the "ski pole" line just about killed me.
One of the things I really loved, though, in all seriousness, was how you kept him resolutely Carlton after he met her family. He still made snarky comments about tourists and didn't magically turn into the perfect guy her parents would automatically love.
Also- LOVED the Frank O'Hara line.
