I looove how you've written this, honestly. It's really realistic. She thinks how a person should think, she gets scared, nervous, and all those other things that some writers ignore. And she's not a Mary Sue at all. Bravo!

I've cried so many times throughout this story (which is more than likely a mixture of PMS and how wonderful your writing was). The parts that got me the most were the times when Willow felt like she was losing it. I'm sad to say that I can relate and I have a very strong feeling that if I was to have to go into the games I would more than likely lose my mind and be the "new Annie Cresta". I love that you made it where Cato manned up at the end and didn't act like he didn't care about her anymore because that's so overused in a lot of fanfics. I am curious as to what it is that he isn't telling her though. Once again, wonderful story and I'm going to go start reading the sequel right this instance!

Oh my gosh, I don't hate you for killing Katniss and Peeta. Actually I did read one and it was horrible the way they killed them so you did perfectly! I love the story so much it actually mad me cry at some points! But I couldn't out it down! Now on to chapter 14!

I just tuned in as of last night. You have kept me from so much homework and even quite a bit of sleep with this story. I absolutely had to finish! This is the best Cato/Other Tribute story I've ever read, and I'm so glad to have had it recommended to me. While it does have some of the usual a reader would find in a Cato/Tribute fic (aiding him after the tracker jacker attack, alliance with Katniss of any form, Cato finding main girl after Clove's death), but you created the best romance and most admirable main girl. I loved Willow. She was so human in her strengths and weaknesses in a way that I could relate to. Plus I liked how you seemed to base her strength on her determination, something that Cato would be attracted to. As for the romance, it was very well-paced, giving the readers just enough, withholding sometimes, and teasing other times. They didn't give in for a long while, and really that's my favorite part of any pairing with Cato. You really understood how he doesn't fall so easily, and if he does, he fights it just as strongly as he fights in the Hunger Games. I also want to take note of the title, how originally I thought it was in the typical sense of there being a "spark" between two people; however, I was delighted to realize how the title was really meant in this chapter, when Willow sees a spark of something in his eyes, presumably something very human beneath his emotional armor.
*three finger salute* Ciao!

Really liked this chapter, glad Oak isn't a major part of the story seeing as we all know he's going to die.

HO HO HO HO HO One of the first Hunger Games Fic I ever read and finished and I must say that you are making it hard for me to find any good fics that is on par with yours. Your character wasn't annoying and her dwindling state of mentality was frightening yet fairly realistic. I mean who wouldn't go crazy in a terrible game where death slowly becomes your bestfriend who can end all of the suffering and pain you see and feel.

Also, your portrayal of Katniss was on point. She didn't seem naive or out of character like how other stories seem to portray her now. In fact, it's great to see the Hunger Games from a different perspective.

Although you had a few spelling and grammar mistakes I think...? I just can't remember where but I did see a few but not enough to hinder the story.

Anyways thank you for making such a wonderful story and I can't wait till you finish Blaze. I hope you answer this but I was wondering.. after you're finished with Blaze, will you make a sequel after that too? Just curious ) I'll read Blaze whenever I can but really good luck and I hope you finish it soon! D

Sincerely, skaeye

Yeah I know I've been kinda not reading this for weeks but.
It was hard to see this end. Even though there were obvious parallels to the end of HG, it was still pretty awesome at the end, especially Johanna calling her "brainless". I just get a ridiculous amount of entertainment out of that.
It's been an excellent journey! Congrats on finishing such a big story. I am hella jelly of your followers and favers. *rage face* *shot* XP
Oh thank you lord a sequel yessss
-Don *three finger salute* *but not really 'cause I'll tweet you*
