A mockingjay is actually a mix between a mocking bird, and the genetically engineered, exclusively male, Jabber Jays. They were engineered to collect information from private conversations for the Capitol. After the war they let the go to die off, but instead, the Jabber Jays reproduced with mocking birds, which is why the Mockingjays are such a "slap in the face" to the Capitol, as Katniss puts it. Just thought I'd try and help, I'm not trying to offend you, if I did, please let me know, I REALLY just wanted to help you out! It's a great story by the way!

Inuyasha's so kickass. Only he could pull that off. And I would've liked to see him run a sword through Naraku. It's be quite a chapter to say the least.
Kagome's archery skills will definitely come in handy. As will Inuyasha's swordsmanship. It's all based on how they use their skills and their instincts when they enter the game. One can only hope they can think on their toes now.
*sigh* I've finally caught up. Hope you update soon! I can't wait for this story to continue!

"Because I'm telling you – that's why!" great line, Mushin. Really shows your logic.
I for one, love Jakotsu and his fruitless attempts to flirt with Inuyasha. That's one of the things that I find funny about him. He does it so shamelessly too! Man...
And a classic moment between out favourite lecher and kick ** taijiya. Oh, how I see things getting worse for them. Lol.
I'm kinda sad that I'm almost caught up...

I think you're *** fantastic. You're a hell of a writer and your grandmother is right. Your talent is being wasted here. Not that it's a bad thing. :) we all enjoy reading your writing. At least someone in your family supports your writing...
The flashback was really emotional. I almost cried. Izayoi being torn away from Inuyasha is the most heartwrenching thing I have ever imagined.

You're a sophmore? Wow. I didn't think we were the same age. Truth be told, I thought you were a year or two older.
Anyway...I loved the aftermath of Inuyasha's demon taking over. It was just like how I pictured it to be. He wasn't at all aware of what happened just like in the series.
And I absolutely adored the little fluff moment you had with the ears. I always loved how Kagome was the only one who could touch his ears and not get yelled at. :)
