Wow, it's amazing how something so small changed the course of Severus' life - and, I have the feeling that the entire world will be changed in the future (I assume from the title the story isn't going to revert back to canon any time soon. Forgive me if I' m wrong).

They get to Hogwarts in a flying car, crash into the Whomping Willow and he gets to yell at them! Sorry, couldn't resist.
I think you used Avery in a few places instead of Mulciber.

It's very good to read a story where the whole Blood Purity topic isn't turned into a nasty black and white, good versus evil struggle.
Congratulations on getting to your goal!
I'm still interested in this story, which has a nice pace.
The characterization of the Slytherins, and the OC, are quite good. I cringe whenever someone says they'll add OCs, but you've done a great job on that. :)

Don't submit it for the challenge, who cares about the word count, just keep writing I think its going great! (I always prefer longer fanfic)

I agree with Severus' theories on the "Dark" Arts. It's not so much the spell as how it's used (though I personally think there's no acceptable reason to use the Cruciatus curse).
We live in a grey world. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. It's all about what side you're on and your perspective. I believe that people who see the world as black & white are short-changing themselves. Then again, it just might be my Chaotic Neutral nature.
