What a wonderful story! I think your characterization of Lara was pitch perfect. She was confident and yet weary, strong but still vulnerable. The story you wove was simply amazing. And I completely agree with the other reviewer who talked about your vivid descriptions of the desert - I felt thoroughly transported, viewing it all through Lara's eyes. I really enjoyed reading this and I wish you had received more reviews because it is so very deserving of more attention.
Also, the title... again, perfect. Thanks for sharing this terrific piece of writing.

This is a very beautiful fanfic and it seems it took a lot of effort to write! I loved the elaborate descriptions and that it was written in Lara's point of view! The funny moments with Ahmak were cute, I liked that camel! ;)
This whole Lara's journey of soul-searching was great, I could feel I was in the desert and with the Blue People myself! I was constantly wishing I was in Lara's position so I could meet the desert's beauty in all aspects, the way she did in your fanfic!
Epic fanfic, I loved it! Keep up the great work! xD
