I liked this ending. Its better than some of the others I've read, simple but showed a lot into would could happen. It's quite realistic and I agree that the experience would haunt them forever. It's well described too :) I'd give it it an A.

I agree that none of them would escape unscathed. The experience would haunt them forever, and I'm glad you recognized the families of the boys who died. Nicely done :)
