Hey!
This bit is really heart-wrenching, and even though it's short, I still loved it. My favourite lines were "I only know...end of everything" and "He dangles...the one who chokes." Both of those lines were like, incredible. The first was crazy because it really made me feel that sense of loss when someone dies or goes away. Like, I got a twinge in my stomach and everything; it's ridiculous how you can convey that feeling so well just with words! The other line was great because I'm a sucker for a good, clever paradox. I also studied visual rhetoric and literary analysis last year, wherein we had to analyze a ton of stuff just like this chapter and find out the 'deeper meaning,' I guess you could say. Anyways, very well done! Thanks for updating so quickly!

Oh my goodness, this is great. MAN. This chapter, just...I'm speechless. I started tearing up the moment she talked, and then by the end it was like Niagara Falls. That was WONDERFUL. The desperation was so spot on, and not awkward or unrealistic like other authors may have made it. You could really, truly sense how much they mean to each other, and accurate emotions like that are the most heart-warming things that could ever be written. Honestly, this was just. I mean, I can't even describe. And your portrayal of the characters was INCREDIBLE, like always. And it made me smile, even through my incessant tears, when Elizabeth said she's not marrying James and Jack was obviously very pleased with that. So typical, and so in-character, even for a bittersweet scene such as this. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for updating! It was well worth the wait. My goodness.

My bloody goodness... This story is everything any Sparrabeth-follower would want. It's... passionate, and understand, wry and has the all-around air of a pirate. Amazing job - I can't even put it into words - just how much I love this story.

Hahahaha. My first response to the "criminals" sentence was like "YES. YES. OH MY GOD, THEY ARE ALL CRIMINALS, KILL THEM ALL, OH MY GOD, THEY NEED TO BE TOGETHER" and so on and so forth. But then you made Lizzie go there, and then there was that short period when I wanted to cry, and then you did the whole cliffhanger thing, and now all I have to say is this: YOU, DEAR WRITER, ARE A CRIMINAL. Oh my God. Okay. Update. Now. Oh God.
On a different note, yes. Caring is a very confusing business.
Oh, and I'm sorry that it took me so long to review; it's not because I didn't like it or anything. No no no. I just haven't had access to a computer for the past 3 weeks. In case you were wondering, yes, that was terrible. I NEEDED MY FANFICTION. Neeeeeeeeeeeed. Okay. I'm done.

Simply amazing storytelling! It's quite comforting that I can actually see "your" version of the movie playing out in my head as I read the words. Each chapter builds me up or tears me down, as it should be. It's nice to see a genuine natural talent. Please continue as I can't wait to see what happens next! Sorry it's an anonymous post, I don't have an account on here, but I'm also following the SWATH story - also can't wait to see how that one plays out!

On a different note, poor Norrington. It's sort of ironic, how, in the beginning, the decent, upstanding woman was yearning fo the pirate, and now she's the pirate being yearned for by a decent, upstanding man. Huh. The magic of pirates. It baffles me.

I genuinely feel really sorry for James! He was never going to be the one for her. I like the way you write him. He's one of those characters that would be easy to write in a two-dimensional way, but you make him more real.
I love how throughout this story you've written that there is a subtle yet significant difference between Elizabeth and Lizzie, not just in the way that Jack sees her but the way she sees herself. I know this firsthand since I'm an Elizabeth myself :)

Such an incredible song that! Wow, it really captures the depths of emotion Jack could be feeling, and one could albut feel it with him, want to take it from him to give him comfort where she doesn't! Powerful! So apt! When's more?

Over the past few days I've been reading your story, and I just now finished. It's so unbelievably incredible. Usually, I'm not very attracted to stories that retell events that happen in movies, but in this case I didn't mind at all. If anything, it actually made the story better. The words that you use to describe everyone's actions are just perfect. Their thoughts, their feelings, their dialogue. Everything is just spot-on. The song is so perfect. I don't know how you managed to find something so perfect. I really love the story; the only comments I have are that you don't always need to call eyes "orbs". Just eyes is fine every once in a while. And the other thing is that Jack doesn't really say "ye" very much, but I get that you're trying to mimic the way he talks in writing. Everything else is just lovely, really. Kudos.
