Personally, this isn't my type of fiction to read/write. However your writing is superb! Despite not being keen on the scenario, you had me gripped and I actually enjoyed reading it. Most amusing, and I adore William - very well done! You give me the impression you know what you're writing. The one-shot's structure should be noted, because it made it solid and to the point. Attitude was expressed in the narration, which is always important for a writer if writing comedy or similar genres. Even though I only know the characters a little, it was a one-shot worth reading. Thank you for sharing this, lovely.

This is absolutely adorable, one of those stories that could extract a smile from anyone. I loved the fact that there wasn't much dialogue (at least until the end) and just how, I suppose, enthusiastic Wally is within the whole story. Because that's just so Wally and I love it.

This...just...I'm speechless. Utterly, delightfully speechless. I don't even know what words to use to convey how much I absolutely adored this story. Pretty sure "perfection incarnate" would be an understatement.
You had so many fantastic lines! And I loved the whole part about him hating "maybes."
The ending was cute and adorable and every kind of acceptable. Thank you for writing such a wonderful story :D

Very, very well-described. Great job. Except for one thing I was a little confused about...what was significant about going to Happy Harbor on that night in particular at the end of the story and kissing her there? Anniversary? Wait, that's it. It just hit me as I typed it. Right?

Love the internal battle raging on In Wally's head, while there is an actual battle going on! Classic Wally. Also how he tries to play it off to his son. Loved Artemis 40 something and still giving Wally crap. Loved it

I really, REALLY loved this story. I love how you explained Wally's reason for kissing Artemis at New Year's and I love how in-character it is. I love how, well, LOVING this all is, and how the story goes past their first kiss to their first kid and so on. Plus, poor Will- he's so cute when he's stressing out over a girl. :)
