Really sad that there will be no sequel. But hey, I guess we all need to focus on the futures we have. Hehe. I'll be honest with you, this is actually the fanfic that really hooked me up into reading. I read a few before this, but yours way actually the reason what made me a regular visitor and user to this site. When your story was finished, my activity and log-ins on this site actually went from a regular everyday to I think currently once a month or two. Considering also I'm not much of someone who likes to read, but still managed to get my attention and leave me wanting and checking for more updates everyday after I just arrived home from school, really shows how good and how well this was written. :D
I wish you good luck to your current studies at college especially that, let's be honest, our engineering courses aren't exactly what we'd call a walk in the park. :))
Also, this message of yours kinda reminds me to focus on my course too. Less of the internet but more focus and my studies and the adventures I have with my friends, and my hobby being a car enthusiast and continue with my project car I have til I grow up, and the girl I'll eventually grow up with, though I wish she will be like a punk-rocker chick like Marie. LOL. :P

Well, I certainly enjoyed reading this story as I finished reading it in less than 24 hours. I also found this song to listen to for particular parts that I felt went really well with the whole "seeing past the Kanker persona" bit.

Okay. Warning you now; LONG REVIEW!
This is AMAZING! This story has changed my entire views of the Kankers. I always stereotyped them to being a bunch of rude, mean bullies, but in all honestly. Something like this could've actually happened to make them so backstories were so touching and heartbreaking, that it made the girls seem so human and vulnerable! Especially Lee's story. Before I read this, I sorta liked May, but this REALLY has made me love all three of them. The Eds too! I always just loved Ed, Double D a close second, but never REALLY liked Eddy. I mean! There is so much I could compliment on this, so I'll try to sum it up for you.
The depth and detail to this was so brilliantly done! It didn't seem fake, or pushed. I truly believed the characters had gone through those traumatic incidents. You originality is amazing too. The story you made for both Double D's hat, as well and the "Dodgeball Incident" were very well done. I cried so much when I read about his story of James. Eddy's story of abuse from his brother was also very well done. I loved how you dragged the vulnerable, emotional aspects out of the Kankers in this. Lee being a mother figure to Marie and May, and the sexual abuse, then bullying for all three. You made me cry so much through it all, but you also caused me to squeal in joy and excitement too!
I've gotta say, I loved how you primarily focused on Marie and Edd, but also included the others too. I loved how Ed and May were so shy and sweet, wheres Eddy and Lee were in denial for a great deal of the time. Very contrasting, but it matches them very well!
There's one or two things you could've improved, like any story, it can't be perfect. I felt that Marie and Double D got a tad repetitive on their dates and such, but at the same time I didn't mind because it was very sweet. That and you kept everyone in tune to their original character, which with such a story as this, is VERY hard to do. Oh, and one more tip. I kept thinking about this while reading through it all. A lot of the time you have the Kankers talking to each other, you tend to use the word 'yelled' (ex: yelled Lee, yelled May, yelled Marie, yelled Tabby, etc) you could've used other words to simulate the same feeling. They can't really be yelling all the time. Some things I would've used would words like "Lee snapped at May in anger." "Marie demanded Lee get off the couch." or "She barked at her sister to get her a soda." Something like that, you know? Just a suggestion. I'm not trying to offensive or mean, if I made you upset, I'm really sorry. It's not my intention, just trying to help out.
ANYWAYS! This is absolutely fantastic. I can't think of a better way to describe how great this is! You did a spectacular job writing this. I'm kind of sad that it's done. I would've loved to see more on Tabby and Rod getting back to together, as well as the girls with their new boyfriends. It's like I just finished a great book series, and now I'm sad that it's over. hehehe! Well, I've written enough I think. Once again, you did amazing on this!

I am going to be honest with you, I don't care if you make another story or not! The only reason why I say this is because this story is so unbelieveable good that if you decide that this is it, I will not complain and I reread this story about three times, going for four. I cannot get tired of it.
Besides that, this ending really wrapped it all together and I feel that you truly blessed the lives of the three Eds. I feel that the creators of this classic cartoon would be proud of this and if they aren't then they are just idiots.
This was an amazing fanfiction and I do not think any fan of this show would say otherwise.

This story made me laugh, and almost made me tear up in some place, something that is very hard to do I might add. My first review in a long time and it happen to the epilogue to your piece of work, the one that inspired me to start my own work.
I am glad to see what became of them after their 'happily ever after' ending. What surprised me is that May joining the softball team is something I was considering (baseball instead), so it seems that in some cases, great minds think alike. I also enjoyed Lee's outcome and am happy that Eddy still retained his personality in terms of bragging about Lee 'being a model'.
I have already been satisfied with Marie and Edd in your story. The epilogue of those two is a cherry on top for me. A great addition to an excellent arc between those two.
I find it sad that in those past few months, we have lost some excellent authors and you are joining them. I hope you do stick around and I will keep you in my memories as I write more. Without you and a few other authors, I wouldn't be on . I'd still be thinking that 'fan fiction is for people who can't make their own stories and instead piggybacking off the success of an existing franchise'.
