Awwww, so cute. :D The beginning was amazing, I could imagine everything perfectly. Though to me it did seem OOC for Mako to just run to the shops to buy Korra things, because he seems to be that person who tries to not show much emotion. But Bolin was perfectly in-character. And so was Tenzin...and Pema. (:
All in all, I really adored this fic. It was so cute. :3

Nice! It was funny, I'll give you that, but I just couldn't see how they'd be able to afford anything nice at all since they're "dirt poor." I get the sentiment stuff, but having the thought and being able to afford it are two different things. Otherwise, nice job! :)

A very nice short story. This is going into my personal library, so I thank you for that. It's not long, but I see some effort put into this. It's rare to find, surprisingly, so I commend you for that.
