I could really see Annie in this story. This felt so real for her character. I could totally see her being thought of as crazy, because she could "see" beyond death's veil. And the part about Finn being such a hero and always keeping his word was perfect. Annie and Finnick totally worshiped each other. You also snuck Prim and Effie into this story as well. I found it interesting how Effie now sees beyond, too.
I did think that perhaps everything would read a bit smoother if instead of using parenthesis to offset thoughts, perhaps italics would be better. It's just a matter of opinion, but that's mine.
Another great chapter. Keep up the good work and I'll keep reviewing! Peace and Out!

Wow. The Tree of Life was simply amazing. You put so much into the birds, their descriptions and actions. They were fantastic.
Honestly, I never thought of an afterlife in the Hunger Games series. I don't know if any of the characters believed in an afterlife since it was never mentioned. I rather like this view. You put a positive spin on the deaths of Rue and Prim. Even though so many died, their deaths were the hardest to read, and not just because of their age. I think it was because of how caring and innocent they seemed, even if the face of such hardships.
As is my norm for you, I have nothing to offer you by way of constructive criticism. You nailed this chapter.

I've been trying to avoid putting stories on alert since I have too much going on anyways, but this concept is just beautiful and awesome and I love it. You have a few technical errors here and there, but it's still good. :) looking forward to more! :D

Oh my gosh this is amazing! I love it and honestly I'd like to use the part about the birds in a fic I'm writing. It's an hunger games fan fic and this would go great with the idea I have inundate.
