I pretty much said all the important stuff last time, so this'll be short.
You really nailed the voice for Garrus, which is ultra-satisfying for me since he's my favorite character! (You can imagine my excitement when he became a romance option, haha)

I don't think I've reviewed for any other chapters (I'm a shameless lurker) but I had to comment on the end of this chapter. Absolutely amazing! The tension and action just had a perfect pace to it, and even though I suspected the Normandy was about to appear cavalry-style, I only felt proud satisfaction when it did. I really didn't think Sawyer was going to make it, so that last minute save (and revelation) was awesome.
Also, I really like the way you portray the reaper influence. Just a side note. :) Also also, the end of this chapter actually made me like/respect Kaiden a lot more than I ever did in the game (which I think is impressive since I purposefully avoided him a lot...) He didn't survive in mine. :( (I did try, but I ended up saving Ashley instead...)
Anyway, great story, can't wait to finish reading!

Ha! I could read vid calls like these all day. With each call, we’re transported to whoever is on the other line. That Blackwatch turian was especially interesting and vivid to me. I know I said it already, but I’m really excited to ‘meet’ the new crew.

Intriguing beginning. I really like your style of writing and all of your dialog sounded true to their respective characters. Shepard lying to her crew, keeping them in the dark? Oooooh. Can’t wait to see the reasons for that. Great start!

Wow, once again I am in awe of your impeccable storytelling. I am such a fan of your Garrus and I really like your Shepard. She's a great blend of toughness and humanity, without the depressing angst and extra BS everyone attributes to her. You depict her as the solider that she is. I absolutely love the OCs. They are so incredibly believable. All of them. And they blend in seamlessly with the original members of the crew.
I like how you dealt with the issue of having a Batarian on board, the tension of the 'racism', but that he had his own price to pay through the war too. I think the way you handled Shepard's unresolved feelings about Kaiden was realistic on both of their sides, as well as Garrus, and that you addressed each one in a pure and adult manner. Well done.
