But wait, I'm confused-because I feel as if somehow the first paragraph, after having read the end, is alluding to Jerome 'reappearing' after his supposed death? Or...because ["Things change" she said in a quiet voice "I've change, since that day you left me…"] could mean 'death', not like broken up...? I'm a bit confused but love it nevertheless!
