First of all, I want to say that this story is magnificent. That being said, I do not usually partake in Lamy fan fiction, but your story was so well written and honest I immediately empathized with both character and fell in love with the story. I felt their pain and was glad that they were able to find comfort in one another because that truly is hard to find. I sincerely thank you, for writing this story.

While I am a Shamy fan, I randomly decided to look up the Leonard/Amy tag out of curiosity, and I found your story. Leonard's inner turmoil is written really well, to a point where, as a reader, I feel sympathy for him rather than judge him for what he's doing. Really great fic.

I was going to be lazy and review this without logging in, but then I realised I wouldn't be able to add it to my favourites. :) This story is absolutely beautiful, sensitively written, and full of tender emotion. I'm new to BBT but already Leonard is my favourite - there's just something so touching about his character. I love how he and Amy need each other, but not how you'd expect, and how he can differentiate between *his* Amy, and Sheldon's Amy.
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this gem. Thank you for writing it!

I finally looked for some Leonard/Amy stories and was disappointed to only find two listed, until I read this. This is wonderfully written and a great insight into what I think the two of them would be together. I really think these two would make a much better pair than how the writers/producers have the 'couples'. Fingers crossed that they come to their senses eventually and see what we see.

I seriously love this. It's so perfect and wonderful and full of bittersweet angst. It's exactly how I would picture it. And they so do need one another.

I truly loved this fic. The way you hint and acknowledge the feelings Leonard and Amy have, both for each other and on their own, made this a one of a kind piece. If a day comes when a Lamy story is written, I'd leave it to you to write a worth while and touching one.

This is a great piece of work! I suppose I crackship L/A a little bit. I really enjoy their dynamic, and I could totally see them working out in another universe. The way this was written was really very touching and sad. Great job. :)

I read his again his morning, and I really do like it. I think it's telling that all shippers seemed to have found something they can take away from this story, because it emphasizes the connection they could feel without bashing their cannon partners. And that approach brings an authenticity to the conflicted emotions they are feeling. Nicely done.
