I feel your pain, my friend. Deeply. this was a good, if short, story, and I completely understand the need to vent. I think reading it helped me a little, too.

Oh, this was so sad but so perfect. I feel so bad for Alec after CoLS and I can see him doing something really stupid afterwards (I'm worried about the Maureen thing too, but I mean hopefully she won't kill Alec at the beginning of CoHF- I would break things if that happened)
