Ahhhhhhh how could you do this to me? I quite enjoyed this chapter! I love the way you have Artur caring for Merlin, it breaks my heart and I just love it all. Can't wait to see the rest of the Knight's reactions. Gwaine's was perfect. Update soon!

ahhhhhhhhh! This chapter was just so good! Arthur's speech about Merlin was lovely and Merlin's awesome display of power and Arthur's concern it was all so good! I'm really excited to find out what happens nextttttttt. Can. Not. Wait.
Omg the trailer *dies* i'm super excited for series 5 and I'm hoping we finally get a reveal of magic soon!

That was absolutely amazing! I was hooked from beginning to end. Wonderful build up of tension and sudden twists of events (along with mesmerising whump and resultant angst, of course!). Only trouble is now, you've made me ravenous for more. No need to be nervous about Merlin's magic moment - really enjoyed the way you described his power (how it recovers and builds up with a lust to be released...sounds like a creature living inside Merlin that he has a symbiotic relationship with...very apt). And the moment he unleashed it - you could almost feel all the energy being sucked from the ground and thrust forth to punish those who had wronged him (yay, go bamf Merlin!). Arthur's reaction was great too - shocked, of course, but accepting (like we all hope he'll be when they eventually get round to the reveal in the show...if only). Please write more soon :O)

Oh god YES! I LOVED IT! I love Merlin being all impressive with his magic like that! I could nearly feel his power through my screen!
Oh and, for the record, I don't think I'll survive September either (well I have a Muse gig in October but after that I think I'll die.)
