Doubt no more, this was a wonderful chapter. I'm so sorry I forgot to review when I first read it, something came up and then I just forgot.
I love love love how their relationship is developing. The admiration and respect they have for each other is so moving, and I like how much room for development it leaves. I really can't wait until a few years later, when Hermione starts to fall for him- and he for her? Considering that he's married to Tonks in this fic too, I suppose it might just be wishful thinking.
Update soon! And thanks so much for the dedication!

I really like this story and look forward to reading more. My only idea for improvement would be longer chapters- though that is more of a 'reader selfishly wanting more' thing. Thanks for a good read.

Ouch. Poor Hermione and Remus. I guess she wasn't the only one who had to face her greatest fear, eh? Either way, I'm glad you're including this side of Remus. I've always thought it existed as well, though I don't think it's a side effect of his lycanthropy. He might be a calm man, but that's not because he doesn't have a darker side, it's because he learned to control it- for the most part, at least. The line he says to Peter in HP&TPOA- "If Voldemort didn't kill you, we would"- always struck me as particularly powerful, because I had not expected cool, collected Professor Lupin to believe in taking justice in his own hands.
Any chance we'll see an update this weekend? Preferably set in another year? :D

I'm glad you clarified that nothing is going to happen between Remus and Hermione when she's 13, because I have to admit, the 'couldn't keep his hands off her' freaked me out a bit. I'm choosing to take it in a entirely non-sexual way, if that's okay with you :D Nevertheless, I really like where this is going. The fact that it takes Hermione years to really develop her feelings to him makes it much more realistic than a 'hey, I just met you and I'm madly in love with you already' scenario.
As for how many chapters from each year... well, that's up to you, but I'm thinking maybe three for PoA and TGoF and then more from TOotP onwards?

Very sweet. You manage to capture that whole crush-on-a-teacher feeling very well, better than J.K. Rowling did with Hermione's crush on Lockart in the second book. Then again, Lockhart wasn't really a teacher, he was a joke, so it makes sense.
Anyway, I really like where this is heading, and I'm curious about how you'll handle the transition between crush to love- Hermione certainly seemed madly in love with Remus in the first chapter. Update soon!

Interesting start. I really love this pairing, and this plotline sounds intriguing. I do hope there won't be cheating (I suppose not, since this is supposed to be how the last chapter goes, but just in case) or vilification of Tonks, but either way, I'm looking forward to reading more. Update soon!
