I was reading about direct vs indirect communication recently, and I thought of your story, so I thought I’d stop by to leave you another review. (And I realized I hadn’t reviewed the first chapter -haha!)
I really like how you’ve characterized Yuuri in this story, especially in this chapter. He’s very much an indirect communicator, and you show it well. I think it’s realistic to have Yuuri act this way if he were unhappy with the engagement. He would never state it directly, at least not at first. Not because he’s a wimp or insensitive, that’s just how he’s been brought up – to be extremely polite and accommodating, even if it conflicts with his own interests.
When Yuuri says “The engagement is weird because Wolfram and I are both guys,” he’s indirectly bringing up the fact that he’s uncomfortable with being forced into an engagement with Wolfram, while being careful not to insult the silly custom that caused them to become engaged in the first place (but he doesn’t realize that he sounds homophobic). He’s sort of subconsciously giving Wolfram a chance to say “You know what, you’re right Yuuri. You don’t understand any of the customs here, so let’s break off the engagement.” But Wolfram the direct communicator takes what Yuuri says at face value and gets angry with him. Only Conrad is patient enough/understands Yuuri enough to figure out what Yuuri is really trying to say. (Murata probably understands what is going on too, but he is evil enough to let things continue on without intervening for the entertainment value. lol)
Anyway, good job with this story. I hope you continue.

Poor Wolfram. :( At least he realized what was going on and that he had communication problems with Yuuri. Maybe now he can set a good example for Greta.

Poor Wolf having to answer Greta's questions alone. I hope that when the news reaches Greta she will understand the break up since real couples are to look like Hube and Nicola.

Nobody is faulting Yuuri his feelings. But he did it while still engaged is what most people would find morally wrong. He should have to apologise properly and when someone broke an engagement during those times, there should be something given to the wronged party. It's been two years and Yuuri should have the decency to break it off before he starts something else with Sara whether or not he was willing for the engagement at the first place, not as a favour for their engagement but because he should at least care for Wolfram as a friend. I can't believe Yuuri is so callous to someone he consider in the anime, manga and novel as a close friend.
Two years is a long time and he had plenty of time to break it off and he should have resisted the urge to find Sara before speaking to Wolfram first. Nobody can blame Wolfram his anger and Yuuri should not be forgiven lightly and Wolfram's brothers shouldn't be taking it well that Yuuri did cheat and hurt Wolfram's feelings because it is bewildering if they didn't and it doesn't make sense that they took it well because it seems like they don't care for their brother at all. Like I said, they don't have to hate Yuuri for loving someone else but they should have at least advised him to do anything after he had a talk with Wolfram, by not doing so, it seems like they too have no care for their younger brother.
It's fics like these where Yuuri is really oblivious and hurtful to Wolfram why I can't seems to venture away from Yuuram.
In some cases I would have loved this story, the way Yuuri realises how it's ok to like boys and how he gets over his prejudices but it shouldn't be done in a way that Yuuri is OOC about how he may hurt others with his actions, something Yuuri would hate himself for. But it doesn't show his guilt clear in here and he is very insensitive as well. It's worrisome for Sara and the new baby girl if the king should decide to behave in such a way.

This is an interesting story. I look forward to Cherie's baby coming. Although I can't help but wonder if the fic's title refers more to Wolfram than the new baby, since he just had his heart broken by Yuuri. Please post more soon.

Well, Wolfram took that surprisingly well, but I guess maybe he's starting to grow up and realize that you can't force someone to love you.
I'm looking forward to seeing Cherie's baby!

I don't care if anyone disagrees with me when I say Yuuri isn't at fault just because he didn't fall in love Wolfram that seems to be the only reason why some are mad at him, I mean you cannot help who you fall in love with if anyone ever told you that you can't be with the one that you love just because they wanted you to be with someone else you'd be mad wouldn't you. Besides no one would
say anything if Wolfram was in Yuuri's place and Yuuri in his.

Hate hate hate yuuri he didn't even give wolf a try but with everyone else he welcomed it an wanted to try again but with wolf he kept the same opinion he had from the beginning

This is why I dislike fics that pair Yuuri up with other people. The consequences of ending his relationship with Wolfram are all to often swept under the carpet so he can dance off with his new love interest.
Also baby's are not magical cure-alls. Having a new baby isn't going to make Wolfram feel better.
