Oh, I adore wife-wakes-up-husband-from-sleep scenes that remind me of Nick and Nora Charles from THE THIN MAN.
Nora: Nick? Nicky?
Nick: What?
Nora: You asleep?
Nick: Yes!
Nora: Good. I want to talk to you.
Of course, this works just as successfully because of the banter - and Kaddar's humor is portrayed just as it was in EMPEROR'S MAGE. A nice, fluffy way in a way that works for the couple to end the little one-shot. In short, this was very endearing, and I loved it.
