Aw. I just love a child's innocence, the way some things seem so simple to them. Cute, beautiful fluff. The pacing's good, the character's aren't OOC, and you captured the innocence of a child, the hurt and bravery of a mother who only wants the best for her children, and the homesickness of a father who loved his family too much to bring his enemies' wrath upon them, perfectly.
