i love how different both of the character are from each other. it is really cool to see both sides of the district! the chapter was beautifully written and i loved the last line, it gave me chills haha :)
i also like how you brought katniss and peetas story in to the chapter, it makes it more real somehow (like that they have hunger games history and what not). another thing i like is how realistic kara is, i like how shes not like 'im going to die for him and save him'.
anyhow - great chapter and i cant wait for the next one!

For the question, I'm pretty sure he wanted Katniss to be allies with the Victors from 3, 4 and 7.
I so glad this is back up since most of the SYOTs I've been reading are gone. Hopefully they are done taking stuff down now.

and in response to the chapter! great job! i loved that, totally perfect career girl and its good that the boys not a career after the awsome weirdness of district 3. he seams like a guy who is really comitted to comming home. love it!
i also love the reference to britain being a made up country! that's so funny!

in response to the chapter - i loved it, it was really good and i am kinda surprised, i mean you would think that district 3 would be the smart brainiacs that can barely hold a sword and never volenteer, but this is great! a volenteer girl and an insane boy, definaitly not typical 3. good job,
