Hmm, at first, I thought for sure that it was a vision that had frightened Toboe, but now, I think it's a bit of both the vision and the fear of the royal family. He just knows Kiba and so is trying to overrule that part of his fear. It must've been frightening to discover that he was gone for hours but didn't know where he'd been.
Yikes. I'd get the shivers, too, if I were in Kiba's shoes. It'd be so creepy seeing such a change in character and hearing those words from his brother especially since Toboe's a seer, thus, he's supposed to know things no one can predict. Such an ominous message. He should keep Toboe close at all times, except that, since it's a message from the "gods," he wouldn't be able to prevent what's to come anyway. Yikes. Give Toboe plenty of love and attention while you can, Kiba, for who knows how long you'll still have him.
Ha ha! Poor Hige. He thought he was under attack.

4/23 c8 Time Review
Aah, the confrontation. Kiba didn't take the news too well, did he? Let's just hope he comes around quickly and becomes the cool, awesome Kiba we all know him to be.
I can't help but worry for Toboe. He's out in that world all by himself and I already have suspicions that something terrible may happen to him. Get him back, Kiba, or you may regret it for the rest of your life!

I've looked forward to Blue's meeting with Prince Jamal since he first showed up. I had to know if Jamal was nice or not. He seems to be a nice guy so far, so now I'm really curious to know if Blue will marry him or if somehow she'll marry Hige. If it's Hige, I hope it's not due to the death of Jamal, for he seems to be a really nice guy. Blue's story is surprisingly fun to follow. Surprising, because she's not one of my favorite Wolf's Rain characters. You keep her pieces entertaining.

Well, that answered my question as to why Tsume is so loyal to Blue. He has so close a relationship to Queen Hamona that of course he would protect her child when she cannot.
I forgot Toboe was a seer. The poor thing suffers a worse nightmare in his short years than most people suffer in a lifetime. I would hate to see the deaths of people, especially children, and not be able to do anything to prevent them. It's a small wonder that he stays awake at night plagued with thoughts of what happened in the daytime.
I wonder what Tsume plans to do once he meets Kiba. That will definitely be an entertaining scene to read.

I'm absolutely delighted to discover that this story has been updated. Several chapters! I anxiously await reading each chapter and I thank you for writing them so quickly.
Hige's behavior at the end is very interesting. He obviously knows something, though what it could be remains a mystery. Could he know who Kiba is? I'm very curious as to what the cause to the migraines is.
Tsume! It was nice to see him for so long in this chapter. His interactions with Blue are fun to read. I wonder why he has such loyalty to her. Of course, I've forgotten the details of the beginning chapters, so it may have already been explained, but I'm still so curious. I wonder what he'd do if Blue marries Prince Jamal. Would he enter the military? Would he find a way to follow Blue to her new kingdom and serve her there?
The scene when Blue met Hige for the first time was very fun. Hige's reaction was different from what I expected it would be where he would be immediately interested in her. Instead, you had him acting calmly and...very interestingly (there's simply no other way to describe it) and unaffected by the threat of danger of the Pharaoh.
Blue was the one who was immediately interested in Hige. Such fun! I wonder where that will lead, since she's supposed to marry Prince Jamal.
Hige really does seem to me more and more like someone who knows a lot more than he lets on. Is he a spy? Does he work for Jagura (however it's spelled)? Does he remember his past or is it a similar situation as in the show where he doesn't know he's helping someone? Very curious.
Heh, poor Kiba. I think he almost had a heart attack when Toboe came in and told him about the princess.
Hmm, I like the word "curious." Well, that's a good sign for you! It means you've created a story that makes the reader curious! Ha ha! ...Yeah, a lame excuse, but I had fun with it, so it'll stay.
There is a piece that you may want to look at, for it seems as though there was some information that was either left out or deleted. In the third paragraph of the section involving Kiba, there's a sentence which reads, "But even Kiba had to admit that Hige's focused lacked where it counted." I can't figure out what it meant to say. I thought you'd like to have it pointed out.

Wow, I love this story it's already got me hooked. I apologise for the short review (it's 1 am so I really should be sleeping) I promise a longer/better one done the track. A quick note is that the lack of descriptions for characters is very frustrating, unless there is a serious plot related reason a character should be described as early as possible especially with so many popping in. Aside from that your story structure is magnificent, I love the parallel already.

Great chapter! And aww, poor Toboe and Kiba! I could tell that the news would be hard for both of them to bear, but now Toboe ran away and Kiba has no idea where he went! And I didn't know that Hige knew, he did a good job hiding the truth until now. Either way, I can't wait for the next chapter!
