Like,WO-OW. That took forever to read but it was sooooooo worth it!
I just love how many elements you covered here. The multiple phone conversations in the beginning. The unsubtle subtleties that only Dasey cab pull off. I feel like I could go on and on but I'd still never be able to complete everything I wanna say about this work of art. It's beautiful,really. I love everything about it. And now that it's over, I kinda feel a little heartbroken now!T.T

Oh thank God! Finally, a new LWD fic has entered my life. And it was massive and perfect and tragic and so spot on. I'm in Dasey heaven, currently. UGH IT WAS SO WONDERFUL. I'm so glad you gave it all to us in one dose, I couldn't stand the waiting. It was magnificent and completely in character. Flawless. I've recently been trying to reprise some of my old, forgotten LWD fics and this was the perfect motivator.

As long as it was, I’m definitely glad you posted the whole thing at once! Instant gratification, baby! I missed the incorrigible McDonald-Venturis so much! And I love that you opened with Casey talking to (almost) all of them. And I adore Teenage!Marti (I always do) and Simon and the fact that you didn’t ignore Vacation with Derek, because so many people do. As much as I hate the idea of Casey going off to be a dancer, you really made it organic and work for the story (not that I thought you wouldn’t!) and I actually really like Jesse in this whereas in the movie he was just blah. And Rachel is a totally fantastic OC. Have I mentioned how much I adore Teenage!Marti? And Paul! The triumphant return of the most patient, smart, and inexhaustible guidance counselor ever! And now Sam shows up! (Can you tell I’m reviewing as I read?) This is like a reunion of all the best LwD characters and everyone is so great as adults. I love it! And oh my God, that dinner conversation! With the complete regression to Male Code Blue. Oh, Casey. I missed the way you write her, because she’s so heartbreakingly, pathetically wonderful and it’s perfect. And as painful as it was to see her leave, it’s actually good for her and it makes the ending that much more special. This was definitely one of the best Dasey declarations of love out there! Of course she makes it a competition. Of course. And the ending's all raw and needy and perfect! This was fantastic! I am so glad you came back to write this. So, so glad!
