This story is so good! I am torn because I really want you to update it, but I don't want you to rush because all of the other chapters have been so well written and I don't want to screw up whatever process you have, but shjfkahskjflhakjdfajdkfhkal I need the next chapter! Keep up the good work :)

I read this a few months ago but just did a reread and thought that I would drop by and say how much I love it! They're slowly warming up to each other; hopefully they become friends and more soon. I'd recommend you change the italicized dialogue because it's a slight distraction for the reader (my rule of thumb is to only use italics for dialogue if it's a flashback or if it's internal thoughts).
But this is really great and I'm hoping for an update again soon!

This is simply wonderful! I've always felt that a large part of this couple's appeal to the viewer is that delicious sense of gothic romance that is such fantasy-fuel (at least in Skin Deep), alongside the very real level of personal challenges that come with the relationship. You've done such a good job capturing both elements in your stories that I'm entranced, and definitely following this story. Please continue!
