I knew a guy who went to iraq. he was in some way troubled as well. Those guys see so much shit. But a thanks to all the soldiers out there making our world a safer place.

Thanks for the author's note at the end, while reading I was thinking you either did a lot of research on drug addiction or had experience. So, good to hear it's the former. And it's a compliment, because you did your work to make it realistic and not sugar coated.
Now I want to know who makes the next move- Tristan admitting to having a problem or Rory deciding to help him regardless. . . I'm thinking he has to want help and know he needs it.
I really hope school has calmed down for you and things with your son get better. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

So very intense! Jeez, I didn't like the look of the apartment I was picturing, or the Tristan I was picturing either. Poor guy. It's gonna be interesting when he gets his explanation in, I'm sure.

Oooh, I'm intrigued. For some reason I thought Rory would recognise him right away (because Tristan's high I forgave him for being a little fuzzy,) but I guess it makes sense, she's had a bad day, she's been drinking, and it has been years since they last saw one another.
I love that he said most women call him God. That is so very Tristan. Poor Rory, losing her job Poor Tristan with all his bad memories. I think I'm going to enjoy this. But I think I'll also be quite sad for parts of it. Excited for more!
