Fangs of Kato
Chapter 2
The first chapter was short. I know that. And now, after a week of mind numbing work I have the week off for myself, and for this fic! And now, for Chapter two,
The rain continued to fall.
And Beast Boy was sick of it.
The game-station was in pieces, obviously unable to entertain him in his moment of need. The cable was out from all of the rain, and he lie on the couch, stuck in the Tower, in boredom. This truly was his final hour.
"Must you continue to mourn that useless machine?"
It was Raven, entering as her usual dark self. All of this rain created the illusion that she was almost on the verge of a smile, but Beast Boy was too distressed to notice it.
"Come on! There's no T.V., no game-station, and it's raining so hard the pool upstairs is overflowing. Have you no sympathy?"
There was a small moment of silence right before Raven spoke the words. "The game-station had no real purpose. Besides that, you and Cyborg were the ones who destroyed it." This made Beast Boy louder. "He was the one who stepped on it! Besides, it was a matter of reputation!"
Raven decided that this conversation was also, like the game-station, pointless. "You were just arguing over the last soda. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be going." She simply walked off to her room. "Well, fine. I bet this whole "Queen of Darkness" thing makes you love the rain." He stuck out his tongue in the general direction she left in and continued his mourning. He was really wishing for something to do.
"Hello, Beast Boy. I had tried to ask Robin a question, but he has been in his room for a long time. Cyborg is also still in his room, so I couldn't ask him. Since I saw Raven enter her room to be alone."
If by now you haven't guessed it was Starfire, then you don't know the Teen Titans. BB finally registered she was here, and knowing there was nothing else to do, interrupted her. "Hey Star. just tell me what you need." Starfire wasn't her usually cheerful self, and now looked troubled by something. "What is there to do on days like this if there is no game-station?"
"Nothing." The way Beast Boy said this seemed to have the same effect that Raven had on people; it made you feel just plain silent, as if whatever you were about to say was wiped from your mind the moment her words stopped, leaving you unable to speak until you find whatever words you lost. "Oh." Starfire just sat on the couch, and they waited in silence. right as the power went out. Beast Boy mumbled an "Oh great."
That's it. That's the end of chapter 2. Why? BECAUSE I CAN! MUA HA HA HAAA! Ivno Veldar, villainous rater of other people's works. Leaving you with this boring chapter. Again. But hey, don't worry. It "might" get better! Or I "might" be wasting your time. just keep waiting to find out.
