Sadden memory

Looking through my memories of the past

I came upon a single photo

That made my heart cry out in pain

It's my mother's photo.

One of the very few things

I have left to remember her by.

Even though my siblings don't remember

I will remember for her for them.

A photo of a woman

Neigher sad nor happy, she stood'

Memories flooding my mind.

I saw her,

Lying peacefully, surrounded by red and white roses

With lots of weeping adults around me,

And my sister beside me,

Weeping tears of confusion.
