Prologue: One Curse

"Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young handsome prince lived in a shining castle. Even though he had everything his heart desire, the prince was cruel, selfish, and unkind."

"One winter's night, an old beggar woman came to the castle and offered a single rose in for shelter from the bitter cold. Disgusted by her hideous appearance, the prince at the gift and turned her away from her, though the old woman warned him not to be deceived by appearance, because beauty is found within."

"And when he still dismissed her, her ugliness appearance melted away to reveal to be a beautiful fairy named Bloom (From Winx Club, try to imagined her in her Enchantix form). The prince tried to apologized, but she had already seen that he has no kindness in his heart. As for his punishment, Bloom transformed him into a hideous digimon and placed a powerful curse on the castle and all who lived there."

"Ashamed by his monstrous appearance, the digimon sealed himself inside the castle, with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world. And the rose that Bloom offered, was actually an enchanted rose, which would bloom until his sixteenth year."

"If the digimon prince could learn to love and earn love in return by the time the last petal fell, the curse would be broken. If not, he would be a digimon beast forever. As the years passed, he fell into despair and lost all hope, for who could ever love a digimon. . .?"
