Chapter 2
Max POV:
It has been three days since the conversation with my mother. I still don't like the idea of getting married, and its not like any of them would ever like someone like me. A white man. An outsider. The other girls here were far more beautiful than me, but I never really was pretty. Kind of cute; yes, but not pretty. Nowhere near pretty.
Anyways tonight was the night of Laori. Goddess of spring.
(Not real what so ever)
I was wearing my best Moccasins Boots and my favorite Buckskin dress. My hair was up in a Squash Blossom (Real native American hair style) only unmarried women were allowed to wear hairstyles as complex as mine.
"Max are you ready?" Moon Flower asked me.
"Yes"
We started walking out of our Tipi and out to the center of the grounds. I looked over at her and noticed what she was wearing, It was her Red beaded dress, with some of the necklaces we made three days ago and her favorite mocasins. Her hair was in a single Braid, With beads running through it.

"So mother told me about your conversation you had earlier this week. Is there anyone who catches you're eye?" She asked and I felt my cheeks heat up.
"No anyways even if someone did its not like they would like me back."
Her head snapped to me.
"Not like you?" she screamed. I looked at her wide eyed as she glared at me.
Then she stopped walking and sighed, grabbing me by the shoulders.
"Max, You are the most beautiful girl here maybe the entire world! Why would you think you couldn't find a husband that would love you?"
I was shocked by her words. I don't know how long I stood there, but when I snapped out of my daydreams I saw Moon Flower walking away and towards Mother.
When I caught up with Moon Flower she smiled at me, acting as if 10 minutes ago never happened.
We soon reached Mother and she gave us a disproving look because we were arriving late.
"Sorry" We whispered as we sat down in our spots next to our mother.
Soon we had finished and I was full, my feet and cheeks hurt from dancing and smile so much. As soon as we got back to our Tipi I changed into my bed clothes washed my face and lied down on my sleeping platform, Sleep soon overcame me.
Fang POV:
"Gazzy!" We screamed as he had one of his 'Episodes'.
Angel and Nudge ran to their playroom, While Iggy and I ran outside.
"Sorry" He apologized then continued to wolf down his Lunch.
Iggy and Gazzy had arrived three days ago and have been living here.
"Ugh!" Iggy exclaimed suddenly throwing his hands up in the air in frustration.
I rose in eyebrow at him in a silent question.
"Its so boring here! I need adventure!"
"Good luck with getting that here" I said looking around at all the flowers. Yuck.
I looked back at Iggy and he had a thoughtful expression on his face.
"I got it!" He exclaimed.
"We'll sneak out." He stated. Hmm maybe that is a good idea…
"Count me in," I said.
Soon we were outside of the castle gates and headed towards town.
"Dude we did it! We really snuck out!" Iggy said…again…
"I get it. We snuck out, now stop saying it so loudly people might get suspicious" I started looking around at all the little shops and houses. Most of the people were very poorly dresses but they mostly looked happy, as if they didn't care whether their cloths were dirty or their hair was messed up. They were just happy to have each other there, Healthy.
I soon realized we were in the forest.
"How did we-" I started asking but was interrupted by Iggy.
"Shh" Iggy had the world's best hearing so when she says 'shh' it means something important. That or he just wants to be an ass.
I soon heard what he had heard. People.
We started walking in the direction of the sound.
We found a bush to hid behind and looked through it to see…Indians?
It looked like they were having some sort of ceremony or something. We watched for half an hour before they finished the people started going back into their houses. I was about to get up but then I saw her. A Indian. But she wasn't like the rest, She Had Brown with Blonde highlights in it. A kind but firce face and the most beautiful brown eyes I have ever seen.
She walked right past our bush and didn't even look once at it.
Iggy suddenly looked over at me.
"Dude we have to get her outta here"
I nodded my head at him.
We had to help that girl get out of this hell hole.
Iggy and i made our way around the weird house structure we saw the girl go into.
As soon as we found the front we pulled back the flap and quietly snuck inside.
I looked around and saw a indian girl with long black hair tied in a single braid, sleeping soundlessly on a wooden platform, i also saw a older women sleeping on another wooden platform. We -as quietly as we could- made our way around them and father to the right seeing the girl from before. She also was sleeping on a wooden platform, but her face held a more peaceful look as she slept.
I looked at Iggy and he nodded as we made our way over to her. We shook her a little but she wouldn't wake up. Guess one of us is going to have to carry her.
I looked at Iggy and he shook his head no.
I guess that leaves me.
I gently leaned down and picked her up holding her bridal style.
We made our way back out of the house and back to the kingdom. i didn't stumble or trip once, but boy was she a heavy sleeper!
When we finally made it back we had to sneak back in the way we came out; Under the walls. Cliche i know but hey! it worked didn't it?
We somehow managed to get past all of the guards and my mother and to my room.
I gently set her down on the bed and turned to Iggy.
"Okay, she's here. What do we do with her now?" i asked him. He just shrugged in reply.
I turned back around and saw her stirring. I looked over at Iggy as his eyes widened.
Well here goes nothing.
Okay. There it is! sooooooo how was it?
Good? Bad? Sucky? TELL ME! :DD
